Anal Botox is Here to Stay

Have you ever looked at your partner’s cock and been like 😳 😱 😰?? I can hear the voice in your head going, “There is no way that thing is gettin’ inside any of my holes!!!” Half the battle is knowing when to say no, right? But what if you don’t want to pick and choose or, more often than not, what if that big D is actually what you’re after? We shouldn’t have to deny our desires because of our own functional limitations. The key to success is acknowledging their existence and working with them — or within them — in a constructive, forward-thinking way.

Two things must happen in tandem for successful bottoming: relaxation of the muscle and opening of the overlying skin, otherwise significant trauma can occur. Understanding your physical limitations is as important as analyzing your broad sexual desires. Many times, there is a disconnect and Botox may actually be the solution.

I often speak of Botox (or as we like to say “Butt-tox”) being for anyone’s asshole (doesn’t matter gender or sexual identity), but many people don’t even know it can help reduce or even eliminate anal ailments or limitations. I use it repeatedly in post-surgical patients to assist them with healing and pain management. However, its mainstay in my practice, Bespoke Surgical, is providing that relaxation we all seek for better bottoming.

Remember: we have three sets of anal sphincters or muscles: 1 superficial, 1 external, and 1 internal. I use 100 units of Botox to allow for maximal relaxation, most of which is injected into the internal sphincter. The remainder is injected external or more so in the superficial skin. The front and back of our holes are the weakest. I bet you didn’t know the wrinkles on your hole — those accordion skin lines you’ve probably seen at one point or another (either in the mirror or on your partner) — actually attempt to protect you from the increased pressures of sex. By injecting Botox subcutaneously, it allows for any friction points to gain laxity.

The most common question I get is: will I be so relaxed that I shit myself? No, you won’t. Maybe a little more gas or sense of urgency than before the Botox, but it’s this relaxation that lets you achieve your ultimate bottoming goals. Remember: all it is is skin and muscle. After the Botox, you’ll need to start your dilation exercises with dilators and/or dildos to slowly and incrementally stretch that skin and muscle, in a controlled manner. If you opt instead for a forceful, quick motion, while saying to yourself, “I’m shoving that huge cock in me no matter what,” that’s when you’ll run into complications.

Before we go, let’s recap The Goldstein Method to anal success (with the addition of Botox).

  1. Acknowledge your sexual desires and stop minimizing their importance. You deserve it all — literally.
  2. Analyze from a sexual, scientific, and anatomical perspective any limitations on step #1.
  3. If this is in not in your purview, find professionals like us at Bespoke Surgical to do a formal internal and external evaluation, along with anal manometry and muscle testing to define the regions of restriction.
  4. Set aside time for your dilation routine —just like you do for Peloton, only this time you’re riding a butt plug instead of a bike — and create milestones and achievements to keep you on track for your overall goals.
  5. Start slow. You want steady and consistent progress with lots of communication and self reflection, specifically focusing on the areas of restriction (skin and muscle tension points).
  6. Pelvic floor therapy is always an option. We offer it in our offices as an adjunct, where we can help set up the routines and monitor your progress.
  7. Always warm yourself up, just like any other exercise, with your dilators as it helps to not only spread lubrication more thoroughly and evenly, but also it helps opens up your hole before the real thing.
  8. Once you’re ready for your bottoming debut, find a partner(s) who: you trust, understands open lines of communication is key, and allows you to be in a more dominant role at the beginning.
  9. Once you’re comfortable, feel free to gradually switch things up and explore more, making sure to recall all that you have learned about safer practices.
  10. Finally, keep it up. Being able to bottom is not something you achieve once and then only do it on Valentine’s Day or your birthday. You either need to regularly be taking that big D or you have to pull out your toys a couple times a week and do your anal exercises. This way, you will always be ready for optimal anal play at the drop of your pants. Keep it gaping, boys.

Botox is a means to help you achieve your overall sexual goals. It’s not a substitute for the hard work and perseverance that is required for optimal bottoming — it’s a supplement. Sex is an art, especially anal sex, and it’s about time we take ownership of our desires in a positive and constructive way. Life is too short to limit your wants and needs, and even just acknowledging you have them in the first place goes a long way. Well, maybe not too long, or at least not until you get Butt-tox.
